Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a hands-on Operations Manager for the 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 10p–6a) in a fast-paced cold storage environment in Dallas. You will lead a warehouse team, manage inbound/outbound operations, and drive KPIs while developing frontline staff.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of warehouse leadership, strong people skills, WMS experience, and the ability to operate in extreme temperatures while ensuring safety and training across teams.

Qualifications

• 5 years warehouse operations or direct warehouse management experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Demonstrated management skills with emphasis on guiding and developing a team, customer service, communications, and planning.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing PPE.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the 3rd shift warehouse team (Sunday-Thursday 10p-6a) to meet throughput goals.
• Oversee inbound and outbound operations and drive performance KPIs.
• Develop frontline employees and foster culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Plan long-range labor needs based on sales forecasts and management input.
• Coordinate with Sales, Inventory Control, and Operations Support to ensure product availability.
• Ensure safety, sanitation and compliance with health regulations.
• Analyze operational reports to identify trends and propose solutions.
• Partner with Finance, HR, and Continuous Improvement to optimize processes.
• Operate machinery and material handling equipment as needed.
