Job summary

NewCold in Atlanta, GA seeks an Operations Manager to lead the on-site warehouse team, ensuring service levels meet customer requirements while adhering to budget. The role emphasizes building a professional culture, strong health and safety practices, and cost management on site.

You will drive KPI improvements, coordinate with customers and the Site Manager, and promote cross-site best practices to elevate overall performance in a rapidly growing, global cold-storage company.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in operational leadership (warehouse operations preferred).
• Bachelor's Degree in related field of study.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a NewCold culture on site with engaged employees.
• Implement a cost-conscious culture aligned with budgeted expectations and customer service goals.
• Manage the team in line with policy and health & safety standards.
• Work with customers on improvement initiatives to reduce costs or improve service.
• Monitor KPI results and coordinate with the Site Manager to meet contractual KPIs for service and quality.
• Communicate daily team briefs and shift handovers.
• Complete internal reporting as required by Site Manager.
• Assist the operation as needed, including supporting Business Development and sharing best practices with other sites.
