Job summary

Mel-O-Cream Donuts International, Inc. is seeking a reliable Material Handler for our warehouse team. You will operate a forklift, move materials, and ensure accurate inventory handling in a cold storage environment.

You will work with the warehouse foreman, perform daily tasks including spot-, loading, and order fulfillment, and uphold strict safety standards while maintaining organized storage and efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Material Handler in a warehouse environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating a forklift or other heavy machinery.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to be on feet 8 to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Material handlers may spot, drop, and hook-up semi-trailers as part of the loading/unloading process.
• Assist in receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming materials against purchase orders or packing lists.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from potential hazards.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the forklift and performing warehouse tasks.
