Job summary

Mel-O-Cream Donuts International, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler for our warehouse, with significant time in refrigerated/freezer environments. You will move materials, spot trailers, manage inventory, and fulfill orders while staying safe and organized.

The role requires forklift experience, high school diploma, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and stand most of the day in a cold setting. Team collaboration and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Material Handler in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift experience or operation proficiency.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand 8–10 hours per day.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Basic computer skills; inventory software preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety guidelines and prioritizing safety.
• Comfort working in extremely cold refrigerated/freezer environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Spot, drop, and hook-up semi-trailers as needed.
• Assist in receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming materials.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with accuracy.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free.
• Follow safety protocols and report equipment issues.
• Perform routine forklift and equipment inspections.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily production goals.
