Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products within our Charlotte facility.

You will operate various forklifts and RF scanners, follow OSHA safety standards, and support inventory and packing tasks as needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and up to 3 months of related experience; the role may require overtime, evenings, or weekends to meet production needs, with attention to detail and reliability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage throughout facility.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, while labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as directed by management.
• Operate equipment in a manner that promotes safety in compliance with OSHA standards (including various forklifts and RF scanners).
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform other duties such as inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
