Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Forklift Operator to move inbound freight to inventory, stock slots, and replenish pick locations. This full-time freezer-capable role requires operating in dry and cooler areas as needed to support efficient warehouse throughput.

Responsibilities include safety adherence, equipment checks, and accurate data entry for storage locations. The role supports GMP and quality standards while ensuring timely fulfillment and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Must be able to work Monday–Friday 7:00am–4:30pm with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures; keep the work area safe and report hazards.
• Review schedule, perform safety checks on equipment, and prepare supplies for operations.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location.
• Operate forklift to locate and move freight; stock and replenish as needed.
• Inspect items for damage, perform temperature checks, and ensure proper storage locations.
