Job summary

US Cold Storage in McDonough, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maximize equipment uptime and maintain safe, efficient facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, repair powered industrial trucks, and support refrigeration systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years’ experience in PRW and industrial refrigeration systems preferred.
• RETA courses or industry-specific education preferred; knowledge of electrical, HVAC, welding and plumbing beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maximize equipment uptime and support facility operations through proactive maintenance and rapid issue resolution.
• Perform maintenance and repair on powered industrial trucks in accordance with safety and operational standards.
• Diagnose, repair, and prevent equipment failures with refrigeration systems.
• Apply electrical knowledge to diagnose issues and maintain systems.
• Welding, cutting, and metal fabrication to support repairs and facility improvements.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and document activities.
• Monitor refrigeration logs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with operation and maintenance of industrial refrigeration systems.
• Perform general facility maintenance including dock equipment, doors, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Support emergency response when needed.
