Job summary

Farmer Focus in Virginia is seeking a Jack Operator for the Acorn Facility. This full-time, in-person role moves product using electric or manual jacks, picks customer orders, and transports merchandise to shipping areas, all while maintaining safety and quality in a cold environment.

You will follow procedures, report discrepancies, communicate with supervisors, and work overtime as needed. Prior jack experience is preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand English.
• Ability to identify items on paperwork.
• Ability to communicate verbally with supervisors, leads, and team members.
• Ability to be trained to safely operate an electric jack.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Move product in and out of coolers, freezers, shipping areas using a jack.
• Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment.
• Load and transport orders to shipping locations.
• Repack and weigh orders when necessary.
• Report quality variances or order discrepancies to supervision.
