Job summary

Farmer Focus is seeking a Jack Operator to safely move product in a cold, damp environment using electric or manual jacks. The role supports production, warehouse and shipping operations by picking orders, transporting product and prepping shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.

The position requires ability to read paperwork, communicate with the team, and operate equipment after training. This full-time, in-person role offers a structured shift schedule with potential overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand English.
• Ability to identify items on paperwork.
• Ability to communicate verbally with supervisors, leads, and team members.
• Ability to be trained to safely operate an electric jack.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Move product in and out of coolers, freezers, shipping areas, and other areas of the plant using an electric or manual jack.
• Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment.
• Ensure the correct number and type of product is loaded and transported to the appropriate area.
• Assemble various types of merchandise for shipment.
• Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms using material handling equipment.
• Stencil, tag, or mark orders as requested.
• Repack and weigh orders that require additional handling when necessary.
• Report quality variances, product concerns, or order discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor or team member.
