Job summary

Farmer Focus is seeking an Order Fulfillment Technician to build pallets, read labels and orders, and load outbound shipments on-site at the Acorn Facility. You will operate an electric pallet jack, stage products, and maintain FIFO inventory while ensuring accuracy and safety in a damp, cold warehouse environment.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, clear communication with the Shipping Supervisor, and adherence to shipping documentation and procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand English.
• Ability to identify items on paperwork, labels, order sheets, and shipping documents.
• Ability to operate and understand an inventory scanner.
• Ability to work from order sheets and follow shipping instructions accurately.
• Ability to be trained to safely use an electric pallet jack.
• Ability to pick, build, stage, transport, and load customer orders accurately.
• Ability to maintain order accuracy when loading outgoing trucks.

Responsibilities

• Build pallets safely and efficiently according to order requirements, labels, and shipping instructions.
• Read and understand English and identify items on paperwork.
• Operate and understand the inventory scanner.
• From order sheets, build loads using an electric pallet jack.
• Follow proper load and stop sequence when placing product for shipment.
• Load outgoing trucks with attention to order accuracy.
• Maintain inventory rotation using First In, First Out practices.
• Maintain a clean, neat work area including coolers and dock areas.
