Job summary

Saint-Gobain Group is seeking a Process Engineer to manage technical and production processes in the Cold Process Operations group. The role focuses on improving equipment and methods, including batch, binder, furnace, forehearth, fiberizing, forming, and wash water processes.

You will work with operators, maintenance, and managers to ensure safety, quality, and technical efficiency while contributing to training and labor management improvements. This position reports to the Technical Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot problems and plan maintenance to prevent equipment failures.
• Train employees on manufacturing and maintenance techniques.
• Participate in plant safety and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) activities.
• Manage equipment and labor costs to stay within budget.
• Develop and coordinate project implementations to improve profitability.
