Job summary

Knauf North America is seeking a Process Engineer to monitor and optimize cold-end manufacturing processes, including curing, sizing, facing and packaging. You will analyze process data with technicians and superintendents to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements.

The role emphasizes cost reduction, productivity gains, and standardizing procedures. A bachelor’s in Mechanical, Chemical, or Ceramic Engineering and at least two years’ experience are expected, with proficiency in MS Office;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Ceramic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of two years' experience in Process/Manufacturing Engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP and Minitab helpful.
• Knowledge of glass, binder, and washwater chemistry.
• Ability to read drawings and direct maintenance repairs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control cold-end processes: curing, sizing, facing, packaging.
• Analyze process and product data with Process Technicians and Superintendents.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive process improvements.
• Suggest ideas to enhance manufacturing capabilities and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with engineers and corporate teams on projects.
