Job summary

Corning Incorporated in Kentucky seeks an engineer to manage sheet glass processes on 1–3 lines, driving process improvement and supporting line startups. You will analyze data, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and implement cost-saving and technology migrations with SMEs.

Ideal candidates have a technical engineering degree and 0–3 years in manufacturing, with strong data skills and a proven ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Glass/Ceramics or Chemical preferred).
• 0-3 years of engineering experience in manufacturing (preferred).
• Ability to learn new technology quickly and apply scientific methods.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with DMAIC/DESGN methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise for understanding manufacturing issues.
