Job summary

United States Cold Storage, Inc. is seeking a dependable warehouse associate to support facility operations. You will unload/load trailers, verify pallets, and ensure products are stored within specified temperature ranges.

The role requires operating forklifts and various warehouse equipment, maintaining accuracy, and adhering to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with assistance.
• Bend and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Work in a temperature range from +50°F to -30°F with moderate noise.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Operate scanners, tablets, radios, phones, computers.
• Attention to detail and safety compliance.
• Effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trailers; verify proper product stacking; ensure pallets are correct.
• Ensure customer product is accounted for and within temperature range.
• Identify damaged product; report shortages and overages to supervisor.
• Assist in physical inventories and order picking.
• Stack pallets to seven feet; tape/stretch wrap for stability.
• Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, slip-sheets, turret trucks.
