Job summary

United States Cold Storage, Inc. is seeking a full-time warehouse associate to support operations in a fast-paced cold storage facility. You will unload/load, verify pallets, maintain accurate inventory, and operate a range of warehouse equipment while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include stacking products, preparing shipments, and assisting with inventories. Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs with assistance is required; temperature exposure ranges

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Occasionally lift up to 70 lbs with assistance.
• Work in a temperature range from +50°F to -30°F with moderate noise.
• Lift overhead when required.
• Operate scanners, tablets, radios, phones, computers, and other essential warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Handle product with proper stacking and sanitation.
• Unload/load trailers and verify pallets.
• Ensure product is accounted for and within its temperature range.
• Identify and report damaged product; report shortages/overages.
• Assist in physical inventories and prepare product for shipment.
• Stack pallets and wrap for stability.
• Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and turret trucks as required.
• Maintain and inspect equipment daily.
