Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution is seeking a Warehouse Associate (Selector) for our Suffolk, VA facility. You will join a fast-paced team handling receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes in multi-temperature environments.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, verifying orders, and maintaining accuracy with handheld scanners. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to QA standards in a structured, on-site warehouse.

Qualifications

• Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift).
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards.
• Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory.
• Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols.
