Job summary

Wegmans in Virginia is seeking a warehouse selector to accurately pick products for Wegmans stores on our distribution team. You’ll rely on attention to detail and teamwork to ensure timely, correct orders and a smooth cold-chain flow.

Qualifications

Attention to detail and teamwork are essential for accurate order picking.
Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and Vocollect systems is preferred.
Ability to lift 20-25 lb on average and handle occasional heavier loads.

Responsibilities

Assemble pallets safely and efficiently to maximize trailer space and minimize damage.
Operate equipment such as pallet jack, forklift, and Vocollect as needed.
Perform order audits to ensure accuracy and quality.
Maintain knowledge of product quality standards/specifications.
Report daily quality issues to operations management with clear communication.
Maintain cold-chain integrity for loads with temperature requirements.
