Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year in related position, distribution/warehousing food manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Able to lift heavy objects.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong work ethic; work independently.
• Computer skills, ideally WMS.
• Ability to follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Accurately count and assemble parcels according to purchase orders.
• Maintains product integrity and temperature controls.
• Works with all departments to assure safe quality food.
• Works efficiently in a timely manner.
• Works with safety in mind at all times.
• Follows FIFO system.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pick up.
• Maintain safe trucks through proper stacking and wrapping of pallets for safe weight distribution in trucks.
• Replenish stock as needed.
• Stacks pallets according to food safety specifications.
• Stage items correctly for loading.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization, remove packaging and pallets after picking.
• Proper use and application of license plate.
