Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Forklift Operator in the United States to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using forklifts and RF scanners. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a climate-controlled facility.

The position requires a high school diploma (GED preferred) and the ability to work overtime as needed. Training on equipment and safety protocols will be provided; a strong attention to detail and the ability to meet production standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check for accuracy, damage, and infestation.
• Operate equipment in compliance with OSHA standards to promote safety.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
