Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using forklifts and RF scanning equipment. The role requires adherence to OSHA standards and ability to meet production targets in a controlled climate environment.

The position supports Americold's global cold-chain operations, with focus on efficiency, accuracy, and safety across warehouse duties, including loading, unloading, and inventory tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to operate and learn forklift equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy and damage.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners in a safe manner following OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes and other duties as needed.
