Job summary

Americold is hiring a Forklift Operator at our Utah facility in Clearfield. Under general supervision, you will receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, RF scanners, pallet jacks, and related equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage throughout facility.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, and label/wrap/pack as directed by management.
• Operate equipment in a safe manner to meet OSHA standards (various forklifts and RF scanners).
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform other duties such as inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
