Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is hiring a Forklift Operator in Chambersburg to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products. You will operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, walk-behind equipment, RF scanners, and pallet jacks while maintaining accuracy and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and candidates with 3 months of related experience. Overtime, evenings, or weekends may be required, with emphasis on safety and production standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using appropriate equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy and damage, label and wrap as directed.
• Operate equipment per OSHA standards to promote safety (forklifts and RF scanners).
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean, orderly work environment.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, and forklift battery changes as needed.
