Job summary

BlueScope Coated Products, one of the largest coil coating companies in the United States, seeks a Material Handler to move and load finished coils and support operations.

Roles include exit attendant, forklift, crane operator, entry attendant, and shipping & receiving; you'll ensure proper identification tickets and assist in packaging and transit. The position requires a high school diploma and relevant manufacturing experience, with the ability to work up to 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Metals, coating, roll forming or industrial manufacturing experience.
• One year of manufacturing experience.
• Forklift experience.
• Crane operating experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate exit recoiler controls and packaging line, and drive a forklift.
• Assist Entry Operator as needed.
• Perform crane operations to move coils and unload trucks.
• Assist with shipping and receiving of raw materials.
• Support line operators on the paint line as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
