Job summary

Alpha 1 Induction Svc Ctr in Columbus, OH, is seeking a full-time assembler to read blueprints, verify dimensions, and assemble components to construct, rebuild and repair heating and forging coils. You will follow directions from supervision and complete required paperwork.

The role requires strong communication, safe operation of standard tools, and adherence to safety rules; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints to verify parts dimensions.
• Knowledge of use and application of tape measure, calipers, depth gauges and various shop gauges.
• Strong communication skills either orally and written.
• Experience in safe operation of standard power and hand tools.
• Ability to operate industrial equipment - band saws, drill press, torch, sand blaster.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components to construct, rebuild and repair heating & forging coils.
• Follow directions and complete paperwork as required by supervisor.
• Troubleshoot and adjust processes when necessary.
• Adhere to all plant safety rules, policies, procedures, and daily paperwork; attend meetings.
