Job summary

Alpha 1 Induction is seeking an assembler in Columbus, OH to construct, rebuild and repair heating & forging coils.

You will read blueprints, use tape measures and shop gauges, follow directions, complete paperwork and adhere to all safety rules. A high school diploma and US work authorization are required, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints to verify dimensions before and after assembly.
• Knowledge of tape measures, calipers, depth gauges and shop gauges.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experienced in safe operation of standard power and hand tools.
• Operate band saws, drill presses, torches and sand blasters.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components to construct, rebuild and repair heating & forging coils.
• Follow directions and complete paperwork as required by supervisor.
• Troubleshoot and adjust when necessary.
• Adhere to all plant safety rules and regulations, and complete all daily paperwork and attend meetings.

Qualifications:

Established methods and procedures must be able to perform, but not limited to, the following:

• Ability to read blueprints to verify parts dimensionally before and after assembly
• Ability to read, have knowledge of use and application of tape measure, calipers, depth gauges and various shop gauges
• Strong communication skills either orally and written
• Experienced in safe operation of standard power and hand tools
• Ability to operate the following industrial equipment - band saws, drill press, torch, sand blaster
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Applications must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis to be considered for this position

Responsibilities:

• Assemble components to construct, rebuild and repairheating & forging coils
• Ability to follow directions and complete paperwork as requited by supervisor
• Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and adjust when necessary
• Also adhere to all plant safety rules and regulations, all policies and procedures, and complete all daily paperwork and attend all meetings
