Job summary

Hyosung HICO Ltd in Memphis, TN seeks an Associate Manufacturing Technician for coil assembly and related tasks. You will perform mechanical assembly, disassembly, and installation on power transformer components, following detailed drawings and procedures.

The role requires a two-year associate degree in electrical/technical field and at least one year of related experience. Candidates must be able to operate hand and power tools and lift up to 50 lbs; safety and TPM practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Two-year Associate's Degree from a recognized school in electrical or related technical field plus minimum one year experience in testing or utilities or equivalent education and experience.
• Developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Developed math and electrical engineering skills.
• Broad experience using inspection tools, instruments and equipment.
• Developed computer skills for entering and retrieving data.
• Advanced ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing tasks such as loading/unloading of machinery and operation of non-CNC equipment or not coil winding related.
• Assemble/disassemble parts; align and fasten assemblies to final product per specifications.
• Measure and adjust parts using scales, calipers, micrometers.
• Inspect, verify, document quality criteria to meet specifications and orders.
• Follow prints, BOMs, specs to determine proper components and processes.
• Disassemble units to replace parts or package for shipping.
• Fabricate wooden parts, fixtures and packaging for delivery.
