Job summary

Hyosung HICO in Memphis, TN, is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Technician to perform mechanical assembly, disassembly and installation tasks for power transformers at our state-of-the-art facility.

You will handle loading/unloading machinery, assembly, measuring parts, quality checks, wiring, insulation, basic electrical tests, and packaging. We offer best benefits including medical and life insurance, vacation, holidays, tuition assistance, and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Perform manufacturing tasks such as loading and unloading of machinery and operation of non-CNC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload machinery and operate non-CNC equipment per product specifications.
• Assemble and disassemble parts and units, align and fasten assemblies to final product.
• Measure and adjust parts using calipers and micrometers.
• Inspect, verify, and document quality criteria during manufacturing.
• Connect, crimp, solder and braze leads and product wiring as per specifications.
• Wrap, tape or insulate leads and wires per work instructions.
• Perform basic electrical tests to confirm wiring integrity.
• Follow prints, BOMs and work instructions for parts selection.
• Disassemble units to replace parts or prepare for shipment.
• Fabricate wooden parts and packaging for delivery.
