The University of Wisconsin–Madison seeks a dynamic leader to serve as the Director of Conflict of Interest (COI) and Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR). The COI and RCR Director will provide leadership for the COI Office, oversee policies addressing federal requirements for financial conflicts of interest in research, and manage the university-wide Outside Activities Reporting (OAR) portal.

• Five or more years of experience administering research-related administration and/or compliance activities within a large complex organization.
• Three or more years of program management experience within a large complex organization.
• Understanding of US federal conflict of interest and responsible conduct of research policies and regulations.
• Superior oral and written communications skills.
• Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment across organizational units at all levels.

Responsabilidades

• Develops operating policies and procedures to comply with regulations, institutional policies, and unit objectives.
• Serves as the unit liaison to institutional stakeholder groups providing organizational information and represents the interests of the unit.
• Directs strategic planning initiatives and creates unit objectives and goals to ensure compliance with established rules and regulations.
• Develops and audits the unit budget and compliance reports in accordance with established rules and regulations.
• Exercises supervisory authority over at least 2.0 full-time equivalent employees.
