Job summary

Maximus seeks a strategic leader to manage large, multi-project programs in cognitive domain services. You will oversee planning, resource management, risk, and performance metrics while ensuring PMI standards and cross-functional collaboration.

Required are a bachelor's degree with 7–10 years' experience, strong planning and stakeholder skills, and US citizenship with an active Secret clearance or eligibility. Remote work from the Continental US is supported with equipment provided.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
• Oversee and manage large multi-project programs.
• Create and execute project work plans and revise as needed.
• Identify resources and assign responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain resource plans.
• Baseline projects and capture metrics.
• Review deliverables before presenting to management.
• Apply PMI methodology and enforce standards.
• Prepare for engagement reviews and QA procedures.
• Minimize risk exposure on projects.
• Communicate project information to stakeholders.
• Resolve issues considering project impact.
• Ensure documents are complete and stored properly.
• Track lessons learned for future projects.
• Ensure proper project closure.
• Supervise staff and provide performance feedback.
• Escalate and prioritize workloads with vendors.
• Draft vendor contracts and RFPs, change requests, requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement teams.
• Provide strategic direction for cognitive domain programs.
• Develop evidence-based initiatives to improve cognitive readiness.
• Integrate cognitive services across domains.
• Collaborate with SOF personnel and stakeholders.
• Establish performance measures and analyze data.
• Identify innovative training and care delivery approaches.
• Represent cognitive domain in leadership forums.
• Ensure centralized standards while enabling decentralized execution.
