Job summary

Maximus is seeking a senior CEP and performance psychology leader in Tysons, VA to guide cognitive performance initiatives for active-duty personnel. You will lead a high-performance team, develop training, and serve as the subject matter expert on CEP topics in collaboration with leadership and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities include coaching, delivering cognitive/psychological skills training, validating program impact with metrics, and supervising sessions or embedded training events.

Qualifications

• Doctoral-level expertise in psychology or performance psychology with military focus.
• Active LCSW or clinical neuropsychology licensure is required.
• Experience applying cognitive performance concepts to high-stakes populations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team and ensure coverage for the program area.
• Serve as subject matter expert and advise leaders on CEP program.
• Develop training materials and embed CEP into unit training events.
• Lead cognitive performance sessions and provide executive coaching if qualified.
• Monitor unit-specific metrics and report program effectiveness.
• Provide biofeedback/neurofeedback training to enhance performance.
• Support approved research under program management.
