Job summary

Maximus is seeking Cognitive Enhancement Practitioners to support cognitive performance programs for Special Operations Forces. The CEP trains personnel to optimize performance under stress, using evidence-based methods including neurofeedback, sleep management, and cognitive strategies.

Role requires U.S. citizenship and a Secret security clearance (or eligibility). The position is remote with potential onsite coordination and requires home-office readiness in the continental U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field or experience.
• Doctoral degree in Psychology or related field with performance psychology specialization.
• Active license (LCSW/LMSW) and security clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team to achieve high performance.
• Ensure staff coverage for the program area.
• Serve as SME for the CEP program and unit cognitive priorities.
• Lead training sessions and develop training materials.
• Provide educational briefings on cognitive performance, biofeedback, sleep, and related topics.
• Maintain unit relationships and monitor program metrics.
