Job summary

Serco is seeking a Cognitive Performance Specialist to support the U.S. Army H2F initiative at Fort Sill. The CPS will develop and implement mental readiness and cognitive performance programs for Soldiers, collaborating with health professionals and the Mental Readiness Director to optimize performance.

The role requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field, 3+ years of experience, and eligibility for a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field (preferred).
Three years of experience as a mental performance coach or sport psychology practitioner with athletes or service members.
Licensure as a psychologist or CMPC/CCAASP certification or ability to obtain CMPC within two years.
Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and travel about 10%.

Responsibilities

Develop and coordinate mental readiness programs for Soldiers.
Advise Mental Readiness Director on program assessment and improvement.
Develop cognitive performance optimization training within the brigade schedule.
Educate, coach, and mentor Soldiers on cognitive skills and readiness strategies.
Coordinate facilities and resources for courses and training.
Review literature to keep the team updated on best practices.
Support research and provide data to leadership.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
