Starbucks Coffee Company in Belvidere, IL is seeking a dedicated shift supervisor to lead daily operations with craft and heart. You will oversee beverage and food preparation, ensure quality standards, manage a small team, and create a welcoming experience for customers.

This role emphasizes attendance, flexible hours, frontline leadership, and adherence to safety policies. You will coach partners, handle cash, and help drive store performance while delivering the Starbucks experience.

Qualifications

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security.
• Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers.
• Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers.
• At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead with craft and heart to ensure a welcoming Starbucks experience for customers.
• Direct the work of team members and coordinate tasks during shifts.
• Coach partners in beverage/food preparation to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Ensure cash handling, safety, and store policies are followed.
