Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a shift supervisor to lead with craft and heart, ensuring a welcoming space for the community. The role involves directing daily store operations, coaching staff, maintaining quality beverages and food, and prioritizing customer service.

Ideal candidates will have 6+ months of customer interaction experience, ability to delegate tasks, and strong teamwork and communication skills. This on-site position includes extensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers.
• At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more employees.
• Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations with craft and heart to create a welcoming space for the community.
• Ensure quality beverages and food products, cash handling, and store safety and security are performed.
• Coach and delegate tasks to team members to maintain smooth shift flow.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive, inclusive work environment.
