Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Field Service Technician for Coffee & Vending equipment in Charlotte, NC. You will diagnose, repair, and recondition equipment at customer sites, install equipment for accounts, and address customer questions and issues with a focus on reliability and service quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Solid understanding in repairing small electrical appliances.
• Must be willing to learn how to connect equipment to water sources, add lines and drainage when vital.
• Must be willing to learn how to work with copper, braided and pex lines; typically developed in 6 months to 1 year of field service experience or vocational training.
• The ability to read and write in English is required.
• Must possess effective communication and customer service skills.
• Must have an acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license.
• Role may require lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking/standing; PPE may be required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate operating difficulties of equipment and diagnose problems.
• Make repairs or adjustments to return equipment to working order.
• Clean and maintain equipment on location, including exchanging decanters and cleaning brewers.
• Complete documentation including verification of closing calls, invoice completion, asset verification and required customer documentation.
• Repair and refurbish equipment; maintain spare parts levels.
• Accurately record work completed using company mobile devices.
• Maintain good relationships with customers to uphold Aramark's image.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities including emergency service calls, preventive maintenance, surveys, and installations.
• Keep service area and vehicle clean and organized; follow safety guidelines and policies.
