**Job Description**

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking candidates for a Coffee Shop Manager - Starbucks position to oversee specialty coffee dining and assist with other retail operations at Boston Children's Hospital, located in Boston, MA. This is a management position responsible for developing and executing dining solutions to meet customer needs and tastes. The manager oversees and manages dining operations where customers order prepared food from a menu.

**Job Responsibilities**

  1. Leverages Aramark's coaching model to engage and develop team members to their fullest potential.
  2. Ensures individual and team performance meets objectives and client expectations.
  3. Ensures safety and sanitation standards in all operations.
  4. Maintains effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships.
  5. Identifies client needs and communicates operational progress.
  6. Ensures the completion and maintenance of profit and loss statements.
  7. Delivers client and company financial targets.
  8. Adopts all Aramark processes and systems, understands performance metrics, data, order and inventory trends; educates teams on key levers to improve margins.
  9. Creates value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management.
  10. Complies with Operational Excellence fundamentals by meeting and maintaining food and labor initiatives.
  11. Ensures the entire team is trained and able to execute.
  12. Supervises team regarding production, quality, and control.
  13. Maintains a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees.
  14. Primarily responsible for food service at an assigned retail food location.
  15. Assists the manager in establishing and maintaining systems and procedures for ordering, receiving, storing, preparing, and serving food & related products, as well as menu planning & development.
  16. Ensures that sanitation and safety requirements are met.
  17. Directly supervises two or more employees, with responsibilities for hiring, discipline, performance reviews, and pay increases.
  18. Assists in location forecasting and accounting.
  19. Conducts periodic inventory and maintains records to comply with ARAMARK, government, and accrediting standards.
  20. Coordinates activities with other internal departments.
  21. Interfaces with vendors and key service users within the client organization.
  22. Manages Front of House (National Brands: Dunkin Donuts and Subway) dining operations.
  23. Develops and implements retail service plans to improve service, quality, and profitability.
  24. Maintains effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified retail experience.

**Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of Retail Food Service Management experience required; preferably within a Starbucks location.
  • Experience with marketing, merchandising, and cash handling required.
  • Strong customer service and computer skills required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
  • Note: This location requires all on-site employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before the start date.
