Job summary

Community Coffee in Jackson, MS seeks a Route Sales Representative to generate new business and service existing customers on an assigned route. You will sell products, service FSOP accounts, and maintain equipment on a daily on-site basis.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of sales experience, and a valid driver’s license; CDL may be required on some routes. DOT certification and a pre-employment physical are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; aptitude test may replace diploma.
• 1 year of customer sales and service experience.
• DSD route sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required for some routes.
• DOT medical certification and pre-employment physical required.
• COVID vaccination may be required depending on entry requirements.
• Internal: Community Coffee experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company vehicle to sell and deliver products to FSOP customers.
• Achieve route profitability targets through sales and service.
• Solicit additional product purchases from existing customers.
• Collect payments and manage daily bank deposits.
• Maintain records of sales, inventory and deliveries.
• Load and maintain inventory on the truck for each stop.
• Ensure product freshness and manage customer stock levels.
• Monitor delinquent accounts as needed.
• Install and service coffee brewing equipment and branded merchandise.
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction on every visit.
• Participate in trade shows and events to promote products.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and cleaning.
