Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper in Burlington, MA is seeking a Fall 2027 Co-op - R&D Coffee Process Engineer to help improve coffee manufacturing processes and work on developing products enjoyed by Americans. The role is based at the Burlington, MA headquarters and aligned to the Coffee Operating Unit.

The program runs July 12 to December 10, 2027, with a 40‑hour work week, hybrid schedule, and a $31/hour pay rate plus a $5,000 sign‑on bonus paid within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate currently enrolled in a full‑time academic program in a relevant field (food science, engineering, etc.).
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills including listening, writing, and verbal abilities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally, be independently driven, and adapt to changes.
• Understanding of experimental design and execution.
• Competence with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Passion for coffee and learning.

Responsibilities

• Learn about the coffee process from harvest to brewing.
• Understand and work on manufacturing processes and equipment for K‑cups and related products.
• Develop products including roasting and tasting.
• Design and execute lab, pilot, and full‑scale manufacturing experiments to support product development and process improvement.
• Apply and develop skills in statistics, food science, chemistry, and physics.
