Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operates production equipment safely and efficiently to hit production/waste goals.
• Completes all required documents and checklists related to equipment operation and reports malfunctions.
• Interprets work orders to ensure correct materials and specs are followed.
• Troubleshoots and resolves basic-to-moderate operation difficulties.
• Ensures coffee has adequate time to gas-off.
• Completes change-over sheets and coordinates delivery of film, filters, and boxes.
• Programs packaging machine using manufacturing specifications.
• Adjusts packaging equipment for appropriate case size and per-package coffee amounts.
• Manages packaging by closing boxes, labeling, and sending them through a tape machine.
• Performs visual, weight, and seal inspections; segregates nonconforming goods.
