Job summary

Turbo Technicians in Hillsboro, OR, part of Smart Care, is hiring a full-time Dispatcher to join our team. This on-site role Monday–Friday 8am–5pm focuses on coordinating service calls, dispatching technicians, and ensuring customers receive timely updates via phone, email, and portals.

You will manage work orders, monitor dispatch boards, create quotes for follow-up visits, collaborate with parts, billing, and operations, and participate in after-hours on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with high-volume data entry and work orders.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Monitor high volume email inbox for work orders and route to appropriate folders.
• Answer inbound calls and assist customers with inquiries.
• Create service tickets for incoming orders.
• Dispatch technicians for service calls, installs and maintenance.
• Attach checklists and paperwork to tickets as required by customers.
• Schedule unassigned calls and monitor dispatch board.
• Create quotes for follow-up service and email to customers for approval.
• Coordinate with parts to order and track arrival of parts for jobs.
• Communicate status of work orders to customers via phone, email, and portals.
• Work with billing to ensure ticket accuracy for invoicing.
• Collaborate with ops, service managers, and other dispatchers to maximize technician efficiency.
• Participate in evening and weekend on-call rotation.
