Job summary

American Packaging Corporation (APC) seeks a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of the Center of Excellence Maintenance Department, assign work orders, and ensure timely completion in a professional manner. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment affecting production, contribute to process improvements, and requisition parts to maintain and repair plant equipment.

This role requires supervisory experience in a maintenance setting, strong PLC/CMMS skills, and

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and PM scheduling in maintenance.
• Experience with CMMS and PLC troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Actively troubleshoot maintenance-related production problems.
• Assign PMs and work orders and oversee their completion through CMMS.
• Maintain department metrics and review with Management.
• Review completed maintenance work for professionalism and accuracy.
• Oversee minor projects to completion.
• Order parts for maintenance/repair of plant equipment.
• Coordinate continuous training (internal and OEM).
• Other duties as assigned.
