American Packaging Corporation (APC) seeks an experienced engineer to provide hands‑on design and project leadership for the Chili, NY facility. You’ll support maintenance, plant upgrades, equipment installation and safety initiatives while collaborating with production teams.

The role emphasizes electrical or mechanical engineering knowledge, hands‑on project involvement, and the ability to manage diverse tasks from concept to completion.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical engineering principles.
• Experience with project management and maintenance in a manufacturing setting.

Responsabilidades

• Provide hands‑on engineering/design support for daily maintenance and improvements.
• Involve in fabrication, assembly and installation of equipment and machinery.
• Understand equipment functionality to assess production needs and improvements.
• Experience with PLC based systems, process control/instrumentation, and motor control architectures.
• Project management responsibilities including scheduling, budgeting and reporting.
• Provide training for operators and maintenance personnel on operation, troubleshooting and safety.
