Job summary

Samaritan Health Services is seeking a Manager of Coding to lead inpatient and outpatient coding, audits, and education programs at Samaritan Medical Center. You will ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in coding quality across the organization.

You will collaborate with CDI, Compliance, and Revenue Integrity teams to support revenue cycle performance, oversee audits, and deliver coding education. A leadership mindset and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, or equivalent).
• 3-5 years of medical coding experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCC/Risk Adjustment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the medical coding team and ensure accurate coding practices.
• Provide ongoing education and training to coders and providers.
• Develop and implement coding policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee coding audits and quality assurance reviews.
• Collaborate with CDI, Compliance, and Revenue Integrity teams.
• Align coding practices with organizational goals and strategic plans.
