Job summary

Sources of the documentation may include office visits, nursing home visits, inpatient, ER and outpatient hospital visits.* This position is primarily remote, with occasional onsite visits *POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:a. Course in medical terminology as evidenced by appropriate transcripts from recognized educational institutions or training organizations.b. Certification such as CCS or CPC is required. RHIT will be considered.c. At least 2 years of relevant health care coding experience, preferably in CPT or ICD-10-CM coding systems and in medical group practice or hospital settings.d. Be able to interact well with patients, physicians, and other staff.e. Typing and computer skills required.
