Job summary

Code Ninjas of Tooele is seeking a patient and energetic coding instructor to guide kids aged 7–14 through hands-on coding activities in a fun, safe learning environment.

You will follow the curriculum, engage with students to build problem-solving and collaboration skills, and provide feedback to parents. This role requires a positive attitude and ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced center.

Qualifications

• Experience mentoring, coaching, or tutoring children aged 7 and up.
• Experience in teaching or child care and working with the general public.
• Ability to collaborate well with others in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledgeable about coding and technology, or able to pick up concepts quickly.
• Fun, engaging, and adaptable to changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Training - follow the curriculum and learn it.
• Create a positive and safe environment for student growth.
• Work with children to determine individual skill sets.
• Provide feedback to parents after working with a student on a tour.
• Follow opening/closing duties and maintain dojo cleanliness.
• Report weekly to Center Assistant Manager and daily to Center Manager.
