Job summary

Code Ninjas is seeking a Coding Instructor to join our team of dynamic, energetic minds, overseeing day-to-day coaching and student engagement. You will guide and inspire young learners as they explore coding concepts and build projects.

Responsibilities include teaching coding to kids, assessing understanding, and maintaining progress notes while creating a safe, fun learning environment. Experience with children and a passion for mentoring are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 9+ and mentoring or tutoring.
• Experience working with the general public.
• Experience in teaching, mentoring or child care.
• Fun to work with and thrive in fast-paced environments where requirements change.

Responsibilities

• Becoming proficient in our proprietary coding curriculum.
• Teach coding to kids ages 9-17.
• Perform assessments of students' understandings.
• Keep detailed notes on students' progress.
• Create a positive and safe environment in which students can grow.
• Provide feedback to parents after working with a student.
• Report daily to Center Manager with respect to day's activities and productivity in dojo.
