Job summary

UC San Diego Health seeks a CLIN NURSE 2 to provide 24/7 response to critical activations and perform proactive rounding across units. This role emphasizes autonomous nursing care and leadership in rapid response initiatives in a Magnet-designated setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Must possess a valid California RN license.
• Minimum three (3) years of inpatient, acute care adult ICU RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 response to Code Blue, Rapid Response, Code Stroke and STEMI activations.
• Conduct proactive rounding across units.
• Monitor quality metrics and develop performance improvement projects.
• Practice autonomous nursing care within ANA Standards of Practice.
