Job summary

Qualifications

  • Fingerprinting required.
  • Candidates without a degree should possess two additional years of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, direct, and evaluate assigned staff, processing employee concerns and problems, directing work, counseling, disciplining, and completing employee performance appraisals.
  • Oversee investigators, review timesheets and leave time, schedule tasks, and mentor new employees.
  • Review case management, monitor daily activities, reassign cases as necessary, and evaluate performance.
  • Develop, interpret, and implement SOPs, policies, and training programs; assist with improving divisional operations.
  • Prepare and review legal documents; present code violation cases at hearings; negotiate and draft agreements; assist in hearings and investigations.
  • Coordinate day-to-day inspection activities; organize workload; monitor progress; and adjust territory boundaries.
