Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in code compliance inspection of building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems and/or plan review.
• ICC certification B2, M2, P2, E2, Fire Inspector I or II required.

Responsibilities

• Perform third party building, electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire safety inspections.
• Prepare and submit daily time and inspection/field reports per policy.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of state and local codes, policies, and procedures.
• Manage code compliance projects including plan reviews, inspections, and client meetings; monitor budget and timelines.
• Mentor and train other building inspectors; assist with marketing and business development.
