Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a Code Compliance Project Manager to join our Mid-Atlantic Building Science + Infrastructure team in Frederick, MD. Lead inspection and plan review projects, mentor inspectors, and support client interactions and business development.

The role requires a Maryland Master Electrician license, 5+ years in code compliance or construction, and ICC certifications (B2/M2/P2/E2) or ability to obtain within 6 months; valid driver's license if driving for ECS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems and/or plan review.
• Maryland Master Electrician license required.
• At least one ICC certification: B2, M2, P2, E2, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Valid driver’s license required if driving for ECS subsidiary.

Responsibilities

• Manage code compliance projects, including reviewing plans, providing technical support, conducting inspections, monitoring progress and budget, proposal preparation, and attending site meetings.
• Mentor and train other building inspectors.
• Assist with management of client interactions, marketing, and business development related to code inspections.
